Rodent Control

Pest Control for Rodents in Your Space

Rodents in Your Home is a Health Concern

When rodents are in your home they can expose you to dangerous diseases and can pose a hazard to your health, as well as create problems when they nest in your walls or find the food stored in your pantry.

Whether we are talking about rats or mice, they shouldn’t be in YOUR house. They constantly need to chew due to their teeth continually growing. They can be carriers of disease, they can contaminate food, and can also damage the insulation in your crawl space or attic. They have been known to cause house fires by chewing on wiring. The best treatment is to seal up your house, trap the rodents outside, and reduce the pressure on your house by placing traps or bait stations on the exterior.

Why is it Important to Deal with Rodents?

  • Rats can squeeze through tiny spaces as small as one half inch wide.
  • Mice can jump up to 12 inches, reaching shelving and other above-ground areas.
  • They feed as frequently as 15 to 20 times per day, eating any available food.
  • It is also possible to smell the presence of rodents in a home by the musty odors they produce.
  • Rodents can have a litter of 6-12 pups every two months.
